Tribeca Art Night #2: Bigger and Better!

Tribeca Art NightThe second edition of Tribeca Art Night will take place this Thursday, November 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include 23 locations in Tribeca—fine art and design galleries, non-profit spaces, and institutional venues dedicated to the arts. New this time: Alexander and Bonin, Apexart, Drawing Center, Hal Bromm, Let There Be Neon, Mmuseumm, One Art Space, and Poster Museum.

You can find the map here or at any of the participating venues. There will also be four curator-led tours (7-8 p.m.):

Tour #1 | Curator’s Pick with Sara Watson, Chief Curator at Hunter College Galleries | 205 Hudson Gallery, Art Projects International, hpgrp Gallery and Taymour Grahne Gallery.

Tour #2 | Curator’s Pick with Kimberly Kintada, Independent Curator and Public Programs & Research Coordinator at ICI | Locations to be determined.

Tour #3 | Curator’s Pick with Nathalie Angles, Independent Curator, Founder and Executive Director at Residence Unlimited | Locations to be determined.

Tour #4 |  Triangle B^2 : Art below and beyond Canal with Jennifer Famery-Mariani, Chief Curator at Tribeca Art Night | Locations to be determined.

Ofri CnaaniWe are also delighted to announce three special events:

••• Artist Ofri Cnaani leads a participatory performance commissioned for Tribeca Art Night.

••• Conversation with Faig Ahmed at Sapar Contemporary Gallery (6-6:45 p.m.): Faig Ahmed flies from Baku, Azerbaijan, for a walk-through of his first U.S. solo show, Source Code.

••• Neon-making demonstration at Let There Be Neon from (7-8 p.m.): Jeff Friedman and his team share the secrets to neon-making.
