Major news from the FiDi Fan Page: “We knew that Danny Meyer has been in advanced negotiations to run an Events Space on the top floor of 28 Liberty. What we did not know is that he also plans on opening a standalone restaurant and bar on the 60th floor that will be open to the public with express elevator access from the lobby of 28 Liberty!” (Above: the view from the space.)

FiDi Fan Page goes on to note that the four-floor rooftop restaurant complex at nearby 70 Pine remains unleased, after the Spotted Pig’s Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield dropped out. At one point, there had also been plans to put a four-story restaurant atop 100 Church, but after the initial report, nothing about it was ever mentioned again.
