••• Antique Garage posted a photo of the interior of its Church Street location, so I asked if it’s opening soon. “We’re planing to open up the space within two weeks and yet there is no certain opening date at the moment.”

••• I finally made it to Good Stock‘s new restaurant on Carmine Street (between Bleecker and Bedford), where I picked up a couple of quarts to take home. I highly recommend the black bean soup, if you see it come back into rotation. Also: You can now order via Caviar (including quarts).
