Downtown residents Larissa Thomson (Tribeca) and Sarah Bryden-Brown (FiDi) are opening a non-toxic, all-natural beauty product shop called ONDA Beauty at 51 Hudson, in what used to be the northern part of H&H Building Consultants. The company launched at ondabeauty.com back in December; as online, the brick-and-mortar store will offer “a curated selection of natural beauty brands including hair, skincare, body and bath, baby, fragrance, cosmetics, and more.” Brands currently available on the website include Saya, Leahlani, Bottega Organica, Odacite, Grown Alchemist, the Beauty Chef, Joanna Vargas, and Yarok (among many others). What’s more, ONDA Beauty will have a treatment room for facials and massages, and it will host events with wellness and beauty themes. Thomson and Bryden-Brown are shooting to open by early summer, at which point you’ll get the full report.
