••• Five & Dime, the new café-by-day-bar-by-night on Park Place, doesn’t accept cash. It joins the growing ranks of card-only establishments: Mulberry & Vine, Two Hands, Drybar, Good Stock…. Am I forgetting any? (Sweetgreen, it turns out.) And who’s next? La Colombe? Kaffe 1668? Its Midtown location doesn’t take cash….
••• Mark your calendars: The next Tribeca Art+Culture Night is Wednesday, November 15.
••• November 17 at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center: Velveteen Rabbit, Reborn by the Pushcart Players of New Jersey. “A young boy’s love and a little nursery magic help transform the Velveteen Rabbit from a favorite plaything into a real rabbit. The Boy and Velveteen embark on exciting imaginary adventures, from deep dark caves to the wide open sea, and together they learn the true meaning of friendship in this musical re-telling of one of America’s favorite storybooks. Ages 3 to 11.”
••• The KinderCare early education center at Greenwich and Reade (where New York Sports Club was) is hiring, so it must be opening soon. UPDATE: It’s opening in February.
••• From Friends of Canal Park: “Join us in costume for some Halloween Fun before or after you trick or treat in the neighborhood. October 31, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Free event; donations encouraged.”
••• All those Possible Productions shoots lately appear to have been for the TV show “Billions.” The flyer below was at Murray and North End Ave.

I believe that Sweetgreen is cashless now.
I knew there was another one. Thanks!
“Five & Dime…doesn’t accept cash.”
The name is false advertising!
I think Possible Productions is the Woody Allen film..not Billions. Billions has their own notices.
Possible Productions and location manager Aidan are definitely Billions. I have had the previous misfortune to experience their “neighborliness” firsthand.
