Taylor Swift Bought a Tribeca Townhouse

The New York Post says that singer Taylor Swift has bought the building at 153 Franklin for $18 million: “The trade appears to be an off market deal, as the home was never listed. The 27-foot wide, 3-story townhouse comes with a gym, a spa, antique French wide plank oak floors and a planted terrace with a Japanese paper glass wall, according to a former listing. It was bought by Euro Tribeca LLC, which is linked to Jesse P. Schaudies, a lawyer who works for Swift’s management firm and who represented her on past real estate purchases.”

You may recall 153 Franklin as the building where French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn hid out in 2011. Swift, of course, also owns the penthouse at 155 Franklin, next door. (That’s her below, with an old boyfriend.)
