••• After I posted about getting a glimpse of 24 Leonard, more of the construction veil was taken down. Here’s a better shot.

••• Greca posted on Instagram that it started dinner service last night. It was tagged “#nonalcoholic,” so no liquor license yet. And I can’t quite tell if dinner is now offered nightly.

••• A soil-testing drill was outside 50 Hudson the other day, so presumably the work on the two-story topper will be proceeding in coming months.

••• Perhaps I spoke to soon about  no activity at the 456 Greenwich hotel site. A front loader showed up.

••• I’ve been trying to track down an answer from the Department of Transportation about why some street construction (usually by utilities) is weekend-only, such as the project outside my apartment, and other street construction is weekday-only. It has been a struggle. So I was intrigued by the notice that Con Edison sent to a reader on Vestry Street. (“I don’t know that anyone else in my building received one of these emails. Not sure why I did. Maybe because I complain so much?”) Here’s what a Con Ed rep said: “Work notices are sent to Community Boards and elected officials’ offices by our Regional Corporate Affairs people. Our Customer Operations people also send out the work notices to customers with email addresses who have opted in to receive our notifications. The notices are distributed within a certain radius of the work site.” I don’t know that I personally want to start receiving emails from Con Ed, but I do think it’d be great if CB1 would tweet out any such notices it receives.

••• ArchBrick, which posts a daily photo of Lego architecture, ran this Tribeca-inspired vignette by Anthony Séjourné. “Inside are small workshops, a mini scooter garage, and of course, art.” (There are many more shots on Séjourné’s Flickr page.) I’d like to see Lego versions of 56 Leonard, 187 Franklin, and the Tribeca Synagogue.
