••• The word from 105 Hudson is that a school currently on Reade is interested in the former Nobu space (I’d have to guess it’s My Little School, which might want to be closer to WeGrow, the Beach Street school being opened by WeWork and Chabad of Tribeca/Soho), while a national Pilates chain is in negotiations for the Nobu Next Door space.
••• The Spot, doggie daycare on Murray, has been rebranded as Canine Retreat. (The latter bought the former last July.)
••• This Friday and Saturday (May 18 and 19): The New York Guitar Festival, “two days of performances devoted entirely to classical and flamenco Spanish guitar music at Brookfield Place.” More info.

••• This Saturday is It’s My Park Day: “New York City’s Department of Parks and Recreation asks city residents to come out twice a year to support their neighborhood park—once in the fall and once in the spring. At Washington Market, we use this day to teach children a bit about gardening, and enlist their help in planting thousands of bulbs in the fall and annuals in the spring.”
