••• Y. reports that Wisefish Poké soft-opened yesterday for lunch. From the company: “We’ll be on limited menu and limited hours for the first few weeks until we grand open, which we are hoping to do mid-November. Soft open we have all of our poke bowls available, and will be incorporating the rest of the menu throughout the soft opening. Wish I could give you soft open hours, for now it’s Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and eventually we’ll add dinner service, order ahead, and delivery, when the team is trained and ready.”
••• From artist Dianne Talan: “My window at the Western Union Building on W. Broadway is titled ‘Homage to Hitchcock,’ or the window-within-the-window. The paintings are from Rear Window; the shadow people symbolize The Man Who Knew too Much; and the little pigeon paintings are The Birds. A little mystery, a little droll humor, and a lot of love for NYC neighborhoods including this one, Tribeca. On view till Dec. 1.”
