As I’ve mentioned in the previous roundups of Jane Freeman’s photos from the 1980s and 1990s, many were taken at locations I’ve been unable to identify. Feel free to weigh in. N.B. It’s possible that some of these are not Tribeca.

IMAGE #35
From James: “#35 and #36 look like the building at the northeast corner of Greenwich and Desbrosses Streets.”

IMAGE #37
From James: “Images 37, 39, 40, and 46 are 387-391 Greenwich Street, east side north of N. Moore Street. (Note distinctive stone block pattern on column.)”

IMAGE #38
From James: “The north facade of 393 Greenwich, on Beach Street (similar cast iron columns).”

Martin and Paul identified this as 13 Harrison.

IMAGE #42
From James: “#42 looks like another photo of 179 Franklin Street (towards east end of the facade).”

IMAGE #43
From James: “#43 looks like West Street, near Watts (since demolished).”

I’m confident this is Staple Street, on the east side between Harrison and Jay. Note the groove worn into the stone at sidewalk level.

IMAGE #45
From James: “Image 45 looks like image #19, the Fischer Mills photo identified by Robert Ripps.”

IMAGE #46
From Robert Ripps: “#46 is the short section of the building that ‘fronts’ N. Moore between 65 N. Moore and what is now Smith & Mills at 71 N. Moore.

Images 37, 39, 40, and 46 are 387-391 Greenwich Street, east side north of N. Moore Street. (Note distinctive stone block pattern on column.)
35 looks like another photo of the building at the northeast corner of Greenwich and Desbrosses Streets.
So does image 36 (distinctive stone column).
42 looks like another photo of 179 Franklin Street (towards east end of the facade)
43 looks like West Street, near Watts (since demolished.)
Image 45 looks like image 19, the Fischer Mills photo identified by Robert Ripps.
Image 38 looks like the north facade of this building, on Beach Street (similar cast iron columns).
I would concur with James- 37, 39, 40, 45 are all what is now Fischer Mills on Greenwich, but is 46 is the short section of the building that “fronts” North Moore Street between 65 North Moore and what is now Smith & Mills @71 North Moore.
The relief design on the columns in 41 looks like the same designs in a building on N. Moore just before Hudson Street.
41 looks like 13 harrison st
#41 is 15 Harrison Street.
Actually, it looks like 13, not 15, Harrison Street.
Yes. So are images 31 and 32.
The photographs in this ongoing series are wonderful to see — thank you TC and Ms. Freeman. Yet it may be a perversity but I always prefer the early shots to the later cleaned-up ones because they remind me of the halcyon days when I first moved to the nabe in 1970 . . . see someone on the street at night? OMG who could that be?
