MAILBOMBER PLEADS GUILTY
The Florida man accused of mailing an explosive device to Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca office, along with other high-profile figures in New York City and elsewhere, is expected to plead guilty in federal court next week, according to Patch. “Brooklyn-born Cesar Sayoc is scheduled for a plea on March 21, the Manhattan federal court docket shows. The docket does not indicate what charges the plea will involve. Authorities arrested Sayoc in October and accused him of mailing makeshift bombs to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, CNN’s Columbus Circle bureau and Robert De Niro’s Tribeca office and restaurant, among others. Investigators matched fingerprints Sayoc apparently left on some of the devices to those taken from him in a prior arrest in Florida.”

CONDE NAST SUBLEASES A FLOOR
This from Crain’s: “The media company, which owns magazine brands such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, has struck an agreement with a downtown financial firm to sublease a nearly 50,000-square-foot floor in the soaring tower [One World Trade]. Ambac Financial Group, a company that specializes in providing financial guarantees, will move to the space from its current base at 1 State St.”

FEATURE ON THE FLEA
Playbill features an interview with the artistic director of the Flea. “We’re a downtown theatre, which means we can be aesthetically ambitious and push form,” says Niegel Smith, who took the helm in 2015. “The project is to support art for art’s sake. It’s about a community of people revealing rough truths and showing us ecstatic delights.”

ESCAPE TRIBECA
Our local escape-the-room outlet – Escape Games – makes the number two spot of the five ABC7 checked out. This based on Yelp reviews (however keep in mind that Yelp reviews are for sale). I have been to three of five of these around the city, and we loved the space-themed one at Escape Games. It’s not easy! Good for kids 10 and over, I would say.
