HOWARD HUGHES CORPORATION FOR SALE?
Reuters reports that the Howard Hughes Corporation — which owns most of the Seaport (Pier 17, 250 Water, the Tin Building, seven buildings in the upland historic district) — may reorganize or sell, since its share price has fallen below its net asset value. And this from The Real Deal: “The firm is dealing with backlash over a parking lot it purchased in New York City, which may be contaminated. Howard Hughes had clashed with residents there before over a discarded proposal to build a 50-story hotel and condominium on the waterfront, and changing plans for a parklike roof.”

CHANGES TO TWO BPC PARKS AT BROOKFIELD
