WAITING LIST OPEN AT 89 MURRAY
Applications are now being accepted to fill vacancies and replenish the waiting list at 89 Murray, the south side of 101 Warren, or the Whole Foods building. To qualify, applicants must make 175 percent of the median area income. The building was constructed through the Affordable Housing Program of the city’s housing department (HPD). Individuals or households who meet the income and household size requirements listed in the table in the link can apply. To maximize the utilization of affordable units, married or similarly committed couples are not eligible for 2-bedroom units. Qualified applicants will be required to meet additional selection criteria such as asset limits. Here’s more from Curbed.
CITY OF WATER DAY TOMORROW
Now in its 12th year, City of Water Day – Saturday, July 13 — is a free harbor-wide day organized by the Waterfront Alliance and its partners to get people to, on, and in the water. A Waterfront Festival at Piers 16 and 17 at the Seaport will have crafts and science experiments; a Cardboard Kayak Race; and free PortNYC Boat Tours. For more information visit the website.
PAISLEY TO OPEN SOON?
Paisley, the restaurant owned by former Tamarind chef Eric McCarthy, is aiming for a mid-July opening at the former Dylan Prime space, should all the permits for liquor and gas come through.

Thanks to what I am assuming is a former tenant at 327 Greenwich, this Citibike station on Duane is now by far the most elaborately landscaped one in the city. Is someone game to water? These pots all used to adorn the south side of the building, just down from Duane Park Patisserie…

Unfortunately the deadline for even requesting applications for 89 Murray: “Applications may be requested until June 28, 2019 and must be returned by July 19, 2019.”
