5 WTC SITE RFP RELEASED

HEATH LEDGER’S SOHO PENTHOUSE FOR SALE
The Soho penthouse where Heath Ledger died is for sale for $48.5 million. The three story, seven-bath, 8,000-square-foot apartment was last week’s most expensive listing on realtor.com, according to mysanantonio.com, and the price has gone down from its initial $65 million asking price over a year ago.
RESTAURANT AND BREWERY COMING TO FIDI
A restaurant and brewery is coming to Fidi spring 2020 – they got their liquor license from CB1 last month and now they’ve nailed down the lease. The Commercial Observer reports that “MezCali signed a 20-year lease for 4,170 square feet on the ground floor and part of the basement of 83 Maiden Lane between Williams and Gold Streets.”
TRIBECA TV FESTIVAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED
The three-day festival’s packed slate, which was announced yesterday, includes the Transparent musical finale, a screening of two Friends episodes–for the show’s 25th anniversary–plus a whole host of talk backs. The festival will take place from September 12-15 at the Regal Battery Park theater. –Daily News
The most fitting use for WTC 5 would be a park filled with trees, sitting areas and a brook. After all the entire site is a mass graveyard.

The World Trade Center Already Has A Park, A Memorial Park If I Might Add. In Addition, The Two World Trade Center Will Be A Park Stairs To Heaven. A Hotel Is The Best Use For The Site But It Must Be A World Tower Hotel That Reaches As Tall As The One World Trade Center. Tall Buildings Are The New Norm And Central Park Tower And 432 Park Avenue Exceeded Expectations. What We Need In Downtown Is A Residential Tower As Tall As The One World Trade Center. Fear Not What Developers Can Do For New York City, But What Those Amazing Super Structures Will Do To NYC In Return.
