LOVE AT 3 WORLD TRADE
Larry Silverstein’s security supervisor for 3WTC and 4WTC, Jaime Cuevas, proposed to his fiancé, Perla, on the new terrace of 3WTC – under a pretty spectacular backdrop. They were headed to dinner when he asked if she would like to see the private terrace for building tenants. The rest was a surprise. (These two are so gorgeous I had to run two photos.) There’s added meaning to the site of the proposal: the groom-to-be’s father was an NYPD detective who worked on-site in the search for victims and during the recovery process from 9/11.

The new Momofuku Bay Wayo is fabulous! As of now it’s just the bar, but the food is great – the curry donut is a must, and the hamburg dip and imitation crab roll somehow harkened childhood, in the best way possible. It’s a beautiful space and the upstairs restaurant is slated to open in October/November
