SPOTTED AT THE HUDSON RIVER PARK GALA…
Lots of local folk were in attendance at the annual (21st!) Hudson River Park gala, held this year at the spectacular reno of the Battery Maritime Building — upstairs from the Governors Island ferry. It’s now Cipriani South Street, and the restoration is gorgeous. There was also an unlikely (given the setting) but totally entertaining performance from Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, wearing a lot more clothes than usual. Below, Friends co-chair and local Mike Novogratz with David Chang, some camera-shy Tribeca gals, auctioneer Lydia Fenet works the crowd.
