THE TRIBECA (PHOTOGRAPHY) SHOW AT APEXART
Apexart will host “The Tribeca Show,” a photography exhibit curated by Carl Glassman and April Koral of the Tribeca Trib in honor of the paper’s 25th anniversary. The opening reception is this Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 6 to 8; the show is up till Dec. 21. Through the perspectives of five long-time Tribeca-based photographers and one local poet (Carl, Donna Ferrato, Susan Rosenberg Jones, Marc Kaczmarek, Allan Tannenbaum and Max Blagg), the show provides “diverse and divergent views of the neighborhood across the decades, defying the insistent media focus on glitz and glamour.” Apexart is at 291 Church at White and Walker, and is open from 11a to 6p, Tuesday through Saturday.

EIGHT DECADES OF NATIVE PAINTING
The Museum of the American Indian will exhibit 40 paintings from its collection celebrating Native American painting over eight decades that transcend, represent or subvert conventional ideas of authenticity. The show, “Stretching the Canvas,” is on view until 2021 at the museum at One Bowling Green.

NEW MARKET OPENS AT ESSEX CROSSING
Market Line, the food hall and gallery in the Lower East Side’s Essex Crossing development, opened Friday with 30 food and drink sprawling under three new buildings at Delancey and Broome.
