MAMAN OUTPOST OPENS IN FIDI
In its continuing collaboration with Paper Source, Maman has opened a new location at 50 Broad in Fidi. There’s more stores coming around the city, too. Plus this news: the Tribeca location has started hosting a happy hour (and this is the best part) from 2 to 4p, with $6 wine and $8 cocktails. I am thinking you can have a nice buzz by pickup.

SCIENCE FAIR FOR THE LITTLEST ONES
Buckle My Shoe will host a free event where kids can explore science experiments this Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10a to noon. The event is intended for children up to age 5. RSVP to sciencefair@bucklemyshoe.org.

FRIDAY NIGHT HANG: JAZZ AT CHURCH STREET SCHOOL
Church Street School (now at 41 White) hosts jazz concerts called The Hang every Friday night from 6 to 8p. There’s a suggested donation at the door. This week, Feb. 7, catch Tadataka Unno on piano, Phillip Harper on trumpet and more.

A NEW EVENT LISTING CALLED ‘SEAPORT KIDS’
The Howard Hughes folks now have a website with event listings at the Seaport geared just for kids. This month there’s Valentine’s Day cookie decorating at Malibu Farm and ice cream classes at Big Gay Ice Cream among others.
