It seems like a few of these places have been circling the runway for a while now, but hopefully will have opening dates this year:

ELYSIUM HEALTH AT THE OCULUS
Expected to open in summer 2020.
Elysium Health is a digital-only company launched in 2015, and this will be its first brick-and-mortar presence. I don’t *quite* get it, but this is how it is described: “a life sciences company that develops novel, clinically validated health products based on advancements in scientific research. The store will feature the brand’s popular cellular health supplement Basis, its breakthrough biological age test Index [as well as] experiential elements that will be interactive and educational in support the company’s commitment to make science accessible to consumers.”

TACO DUMBO AT THE OCULUS
Expected summer 2020
This will be the taqueria chain’s eighth NYC location, with another coming to Fulton Street and also its first on the way in Boston. Their spin is Southern California-style tacos and cold-pressed juice margaritas, with the addition of gluten-free and veg options, like miso cod on a lettuce wrap, a spiced cauliflower taco and the Impossible Taco, with plant-based beef and vegan lime crema.

PROPER HALL BEER HALL AT THE OCULUS
Expected fall 2020
Proper Hall is a modern beer hall with American craft brews plus artisan (!) sausages and fresh pretzels.

SANT AMBROEUS AT BROOKFIELD

The Milanese “pasticceria and confetteria” first opened on Mad and 78th in 1982; this will be the restaurant’s sixth iteration, behind Soho, Southampton, Palm Beach. The restaurant will have an espresso bar, pasticceria, formal dining room and private event space.

CLEAN MARKET AT BROOKFIELD

The cafe and market offers bone broths, superfood smoothies with add-ons such as bee pollen and B12 and a “moon dust of choice” for beauty, brain, dream, sex or spirit (or maybe all of the above?). The shop will also offer IV Drips — vitamins and minerals delivered straight into your bloodstream — cryotherapy, infrared saunas and more. This will be their second location in the city.
