A banquet hall and jazz club has applied for a transfer of the liquor license for 75 Murray, the Bogardus Mansion and the former home of The 75 Club.
TriBeCa Arts Club (with no d/b/a for now) has plans for a 2,375-square-foot jazz club with a public assembly capacity of 125 (40 tables and 100 seats) and an 800-square-foot bar area with 20 seats and a smaller bar on the ground floor. The hours of operation are 11a to 1a Sunday through Thursday, and to 2a Friday and Saturday. There will be live music and ambient music, but no DJ and no dancing.
The CB1 Licensing Committee and the full board opposed the application unless the club keeps to its plan above, which is a bit of a mystery to me since there did not seem to be any significant stipulations…

Love it . Wish I had patronized the 75 more. Wont miss the opportunity this time . Bummer as it comes on heels of Covid -19
Love it. We need more music here.
Great news…More jazz in the neighborhood makes me happy.
