GET FRESH BREW DELIVERED
The Torch & Crown, the brewery that has been percolating on Vandam and Sixth Ave. for a while now, was two months from opening when the virus hit and construction was shut down. But the two founders (above) are still brewing at their Bronx facility and delivering downtown from the Soho shop. (When this is over, it will house a 250-seat restaurant and full production brewery). From the owners: “As a brewery we are considered an essential business and it had always been our goal to distribute direct to consumer once we opened downtown. We made a quick pivot and launched after the shutdown was initiated.” Order here for same day delivery, pickup or instant delivery (within an hour or so). Deliveries take place between 3 and 7p. All cans are sanitized and bagged for contactless delivery.

Leo’s Bagels at 3 Hanover Square has reopened after these several weeks and has hours from 7a–2p. Owner Adam Pomerantz closed on March 20, but then cleaned the store and drafted a plan to keep operating.
