The city has an interactive map to show people where they can get free COVID-19 testing, with 100 spots citywide now open at CityMD and OneMedical. The test is free whether you are insured or not. Sites are:
Some require appointments, but most are just walk-in. Check the site for hours.
The city is recommending that all New Yorkers get tested now, whether or not you have symptoms or are at increased risk. And if your test comes back negative, you should get tested again if:

Can anyone confirm whether CityMD at 87 Chambers is open? The CityMD web site lists it as “temporarily closed” still, but that map shows it as a testing site…
Still closed
I just called CityMD (06-22-2020) and was told that the Tribeca CityMD site at 87 Chambers is still temporarily closed. They said the closest CityMD is at 138 Fulton.
Correction: call was made 06-12-2020.
I had a quest test over 2 months ago
I don’t understand all the fuss about not enough testing
The minute I needed one called Dr
got a script went in next day Thursday
Negative results tuesday
I would recommend CityMD: walk in, wait 2 minutes, take test and leave. There was maybe 3 patients every time I have gone. I’ve been tested 3 times for my work.
By the way it’s not about big fuss it’s about some people just don’t know where to find it. Great your doctor was able to find you a place or did it themself. Now keep those privileged comments to yourself.
