CELEBRATING GRADS IN LOCAL PARKS
Not to be outdone by the Friends of Duane Park, the Friends of Washington Market Park added a banner to the gazebo to congratulate the COVID class of 2020 and to create a neighborhood photo op. But then Duane Park will up the ante and add even more serious decorations to the park on June 22, including a balloon arch from Balloon Saloon.
GOTAN IS BACK — AGAIN!
Gotan opened on June 1, and two days later, when the protests started, decided to board up and close. But now they are open for reals, with seating back out on the loading dock as it is meant to be. (Now too bad they have to deal with that sidewalk bridge…)
SHOPBOY IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
The boutique tailor on Walker is back in action. They are taking appointments, both in the shop and in-home, beginning next week. To schedule an appointment, click here or send an email to ciao@shopboyny.com. Hours are Monday thru Friday from 11a to 5p, but other times can be arranged.
TINY’S NOW HAS TAKEOUT
A. sent word that Tiny’s is now serving for delivery and takeout, and should be poised for outside dining once Phase 2 kicks in.
PJ CLARKE’S OPEN IN BROOKFIELD
JPL wrote in comments that PJ Clarke’s at Brookfield is now open for delivery and takeout. It looks like hours are 11:30 to 8 weekdays, and 11 to 8 on weekends.
