ONE WORLD TRADE WILL OPEN NOV. 1
If it’s one of those things you’ve never done but figure you should at some point, now may be the time. The observatory at the top of One World Trade will reopen on Sunday, Nov. 1, and then again on Saturday, Nov. 7, as a warmup; it will resume weekend operations only starting Nov. 14. Hours will be 11a to 7p. It will operate at 25 percent capacity. The restaurant — ONE Dine — will also be open. Reservations are here.
PUBLIC ENEMY #1 TAKES ON PUBLIC ENEMY #1
What’s better than matching up Ryan Reynolds and street art? Not much in my book. (Though the Rikers’ reference was a little tone deaf IMO.) This is from @1penemy, or #1 public enemy to spell it out, aka Nicholas Toscano. Toscano is a former military dentist, board-certified periodontist and now celebrity dental surgeon who has also broken into the street art scene with his made-up mugshots of super models. This latest series features masks to promote the obvious message of the day. More TK, I hope.
MULBERRY & VINE BACK IN NOMAD
Mulberry & Vine has reopened its Nomad outlet, at 55 W. 27th St. (6th Avenue & Broadway). Hours are Monday to Friday, 11a to 9p.
PAINTING IT RED
My guess is the cooks at Tre Sorelle never thought they would be wielding brushes and rollers out in the middle Reade Street, but here we are, getting ready for outdoor dining in November.
OUTDOORS IS NOW IN AT TEMPLE COURT
Temple Court, Tom Colicchio’s rooftop bar on the 10th floor of The Beekman Hotel, has enclosed its terrace and is now open from 5 to 9p with limited seating as of Oct. 12. I haven’t been yet, but it looks like a real escape. Reservations are at OpenTable.
