On this unsettling and unsettled morning, all is quiet on local streets — and was last night as well when I went out at 1a. The only folks moving around then were the cooks at Dona Bella and Pakistani Tea House. (Though oddly, there was someone clearly watching returns in the AKA Tribeca hotel, which is still closed.) Still, it is a beautiful day for a Biden/Harris win.

Only a small number of windows were boarded up, and my guess is they will stay that way till the results are in. But stores are open behind the plywood if you have the stomach to shop.
