ALL QUIET AT SUPER TALL
The super tall at 45 Park Place — 667 feet of it — is stalled out, according to YIMBY. I’ve certainly strolled by but didn’t realize that all was quiet on the site since late 2019. Work on the Islamic cultural center next door, at 51 Park Place, has yet to start.
EILEEN FISHER’S ROOTS
I had never heard this one, but Entrepreneur magazine has a Q&A with Eileen Fisher and notes that she started her eponymous company “with only $350…in 1984 from the ground up – literally step-by-step – from a fifth-floor Tribeca walkup.”
IDENTIFY THIS PENTHOUSE!
Who can guess the address of this fab 4500-square-foot Jamie Drake designed penthouse from the views off the roof deck? I don’t have the spatial relations skills to do it…

FOOD AS FASHION
The Times has a feature on the creative cooking of fashion designer Laura Kim, who live in Tribeca. Along with Fernando Garcia, Kim is co-creative director of both Oscar de la Renta and Monse (the label she and Garcia launched in 2015). Since the pandemic, “Laura has turned her small home kitchen into a culinary atelier of sorts. Her sister, Jeang Kim, an interior designer who also lives in the city, helped her source a four-foot-long vintage wood-topped cutting table that extends her counter space.”

That rooftop is 25 N Moore. You can see the concrete corner design arches from google street view if you go look from Franklin and Varick.
Thanks!!
