KIDS THESE DAYS: DEVIN MINNIHAN + DOWNTOWN YOGURT
Tribeca native Devin Minnihan was looking for a way to put his design skills from Parsons (he’s a sophomore) to good use during the pandemic, while all his classes were online and he had more time on his hands than usual. He tried connecting with creative agencies, but with everyone out of their offices, that was a challenge. So he went door to door here in the neighborhood, offering his services to local businesses.
The folks at Downtown Yogurt bit, and the result is a new logo that, for now, adorns a hoodie available online and at the shop in Jersey City. The design was inspired by vintage Japanese magazines. Of course it says “Downtown Yogurt.”
COCOON TO HOST WINTER MARKET
Cocoon, the members-only club for families, will open to the public for a winter market tomorrow, Dec. 12, and next Saturday, Dec. 19. from 9:30a to 1:30p. The vendors will represent small businesses and artists offering mostly homemade items. 316 Greenwich at Duane.
ART INSTALLATION AT THE SEAPORT
The Downtown Alliance has a new installation at 200 Water and Fulton called Ziggy — and the few times I’ve been by it’s made for a great lounging spot. It was created by design studio Hou de Sousa and uses cords tied to a steel structure illuminated by colored lights. The structures’ “gateways” are designed to serve as benches.

$60 for a crewneck with a tinyass logo & $80 for a hoodie who’s gonna buy for $80? Another Supreme wannabe.
Charge the most for the least effort I guess.
Btw why/how is this dude selling NYC parks gear? So he’s making money off a taxpayer funded entity? Nah ah.
