AMAZON RETURNS ON WHOLE FOODS SECOND FLOOR
I have been weaning myself off Amazon, but sometimes there’s stuff you just can’t get around here. (A foot tambourine, for example.) I returned something, and the drop off option was at Whole Foods — and there’s a whole ecosystem up there now that the seating area is closed.
NEW STUDENT SPACES AT PACE GET NOTICED
The American Institute of Architects New York State (AIANYS) has awarded Pace University and FXCollaborative a 2020 Design Award of Merit in the Interiors Category. FIRE AT TINY’S
The FDNY refuses to send me a report after several requests, but there was indeed a fire at Tiny’s on Sunday. Thanks to S. for the images. UPDATE: Another neighbor sent me a photo of the same fire, but from above.

“Good Luck with the Fire Department”?
What do you mean by that comment,: do you know something we don’t know?
That fireplace should not be allowed. This was not the first fire at Tiny’s and probably won’t be the last. Makes one go “hmmm”
Please stay on that request from the FDNY. See if they ever comply. If they don’t that might be a great story to pursue.
Hopefully, little damage. Very sweet house built 1810, but it’s a woodframe house with a brick front. Probably best to not use fireplace.
