NAKED PATRIOT
I freaked out when I walked by the Patriot this morning — the neon sign is gone and the chalkboards were bare. But phew, the bar is open and the tables were out by the time I headed the other direction. Awaiting word on what’s going on. Hopefully a restoration of the neon sign??

CONCERTS IN DUANE PARK
In its alternate Thursdays summer concert series, Duane Park has two shows cued up for this month: July 8 with Chris Oledude & Friends (@oledude.world) and July 22 Nx Time (@nxtimemusic). Both are at 6:30 to 8p.

DOWNTOWN DAY CAMP IS BACK
After being closed last summer, Downtown Day Camp at the community center on Warren is back in action. They have swim instruction, sports on the fields, science, arts & crafts, gym activities, Legos, outings to the mini golf course on Pier 25 and weekly visits from Eyes of the Wild director Travis Gale with his educational animal shows.
