In case you panic as I did when you saw the doors locked at Interlude, they are closed for the next three Sundays in August.
HELP FOR THE EAST BROADWAY MALL?
Margaret Chin and Fujinese Chinatown leaders (Asian Americans For Equality, Chinatown BID, America Fujianese of Community in U.S.) are demanding that the city revitalize the East Broadway commercial strip by addressing overdue capital renovations and mismanagement. And while they are at it, someone — not sure if it’s the Parks Department or DOT — has to do some work on the median park on Allen/Pike. It’s shameful that the benches there have been a wreck for a decade, and the plantings need help too.
DOWNTOWN REBOUNDING

Margaret Chin ought to speak forcefully to the City councilperson who failed to successfully advocate for an East Broadway revitalization all these years . Who could that be?
You nailed it James!!!
I wish Chin’s office would look at cleaning up Collect Pond Park and Columbus Park. Both are absolutely disgusting.
