DONATE, REUSE, REPAIR
In an effort to reduce the large volume of reusable household items thrown in the garbage, the Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board — which is run by the borough president’s office — has compiled a list of organizations that will help you donate, share, sell, or swap the things you no longer want. There are thrift stores and other online groups in the list. It’s in alpha order, and there are not a ton in our area, but if you have wheels it’s useful, and some places pick up.

FEARLESS GIRL HERE FOR THE TIME BEING
The Tribeca Trib covered the Landmarks Commission’s hearing on the lease extension of Fearless Girl on Broad Street. She got a three-year extention with accolades. “‘Personally, it is thrilling to have a role in the presence of Fearless Girl,’ said Landmarks Commission chair Sarah Carroll, who like others on the panel lauded the 4-foot-bronze child as an inspiring symbol of gender equity.”

XI’AN FAMOUS FOODS IN FIDI REOPENS
The Fidi branch of Xi’an Famous Foods, the local chain that first opened in Queens in 2005, has recently reopened at 8 Liberty Place. Open Monday through Saturday.

TRIBECA IN GINGERBREAD
One of the two owners of Frenchette — Lee Hanson — crafted the restaurant and the whole building at 241 West Broadway (at N. Moore) in gingerbread — complete with the curbside seating, a dusting of snow and, of course, Spiderman.
