WARREN PEACE IS OPEN
More to come at the end of the week, but in the meantime, a sneak peak at Warren Peace — the new restaurant that has taken over the Warren 77 space.
CAN’T DO THIS WITH AN UBER…
For some purposes, you can’t beat a yellow cab. Photographer Claudine Williams happened to walk by while Gigi Hadid was doing a photo shoot on Harrison, and B. got the shot below while having lunch at Puffy’s. She drew a crowd.
TAPESTRIES ON WARREN
I was really drawn to a series of paintings and tapestries (though to more the tapestries) by Westsider Adrianne Lobel in the pop-up gallery space called On the Fringe at 72 Warren. She’s a Hell’s Kitchen resident and a stage designer who’s been painting and stitching for 20 years. She’s there through the 22nd.
TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL TICKETS ON SALE
Tribeca Film Festival is scheduled for June 8 to 19 and tickets are on sale now here. (They are still using their new name: the Tribeca Festival, but no way am I dropping the “Film”.) Last year there were outdoor events at The Battery and Brookfield; not sure what the plan is yet for this year…

Walked by the 11 Varick St yesterday, space used to be Girello but I saw the signage has been changed to Osteria Carlina. There is a restaurant with same name in West Village, perhaps it’s moving to Tribeca? Just a guess.
Also walked by 80 North Moore/BMCC parking lot and saw a Geotechnical Driller nearby. Wonder if there will be construction going on.
Yes, you are right:

Is there still a bar in the back at Warren Peace or is it table dining only?
Bar is still there.
Very cool, will have to stop by to try some duck fat fries and cocktails.
