THREE MEN ON A FENCE
J. spotted these great heads on the fence at Bogardus Plaza yesterday — more guerilla art for the neighborhood. Anyone have a clue?
THE VITAMIN SHOPPE HAS CLOSED
I never understood the Old English spelling here, but regardless: the Vitamin Shoppe at the corner of Chambers and Church, in Tribeca Rogue, has closed this location. (S. spotted it first.) There are others around the city if you were a regular.
A NEW MED SPA ON WORTH
Evolve Med Spa, which has six locations in New Jersey, has opened a branch at 91 Worth (Broadway and Church) offering injectables, lasers, body contouring, hair restoration and one I had not heard of: permanent makeup done with tattoos: “a procedure that uses a micropigmentation technique to apply tattoo pigment to the skin to give you a full-on and always ready makeup look. It adds color to enhance the natural look of your lashes, eyebrows, lips, and can even hide scars and help with hair loss problems.”
DANCING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD
I love it when Downtown Dance Factory photographs their kids dancing in the streets of the neighborhood. That’s my talented young neighbor in midair at the Seaport, shot by Melina Nastazia.

The Vitamin Shoppe made a generic phrase (vitamin shop) into an undisclaimed trademark for 40 years until the Patent and Trademark Office found it was too generic to be trademarked without a disclaimer, even with the Old English affectation.
