SHAKESPEARE DOWNTOWN AT THE BATTERY
The theater company Shakespeare Downtown will present George Bernard Shaw’s “Saint Joan” in Castle Clinton in The Battery through June 26. The play is based on historical records of the 1431 trial of French military icon and religious martyr Joan of Arc. The production is directed by Geoffrey Horne. Free tickets are available at 5:45 p.m. the day of the performance.
