56 N. MOORE FOR SALE?
The Real Deal has another story (here’s the last one) about the former parking garage at 56 N. Moore: turns out it may be for sale — or at the very least, it’s listed with a commercial broker. From TRD: “This week, brokerage Avison Young listed the building for sale, touting its redevelopment potential as a corporate headquarters or boutique office. Metro Loft had been eyeing a conversion to residential use. The listing might signal that Metro Loft has pulled out, a commercial broker unaffiliated with Avison Young told The Real Deal. But a spokesperson for Metro Loft said the firm is still in contract to buy the building and a residential project is still on the table.”
FOR A SECLUDED GAME…
New York magazine’s Curbed did a feature on the best city tennis courts and ours at Washington Market Park got a shoutout for “most secluded.” The Hudson River Park courts just south of Pier 40 were number one on the list for “When You Don’t Have a Permit.” “Crucially, they’re not subject to the moving target that is the Parks Department sign-up rules, which seem to differ from court to court.”
HARRY STYLES’ TRIBECA PAD
This has been sitting in my files FOREVER, but I wanted to add it here so I can find it later: Harry Styles bought an apartment at 443 Greenwich in 2017. Hello Magazine records it here.
KIDMAN-URBANS AT 108 LEONARD
And another moldy one for the record: The Post reported that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban bought an apartment in 108 Leonard, the clocktower building, in 2020: a two-bedroom for around $3.5 million.
