SECURITY GRANTS FOR RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS
This is kind of depressing, but Congressman Dan Goldman sent out a release that the Department of Homeland Security now has grants for nonprofits to increase security to combat hate crimes. The Nonprofit Security Grant Program awards funds for security enhancements including safety and security planning, training, and exercises, contract security guards, access/entry controls, security cameras, external lighting and more. Each nonprofit may apply for up to $150,000 in grant funding per site. More info here.
