Paris Laundry, a small luxury men’s fashion line founded and manufactured here, has taken one of the retail spaces at 5 Harrison, between Hudson and Staple (A. spotted it!)
Founder Guy Samuel said the space is setup for now as their studio / showroom but we be opening for retail on the weekends sometime in June.
“This is a permanent location, not a pop up,” Guy added. “We’re excited to be joining the neighborhood!”
The company’s website says its main goal is to design items that communicate a New York aesthetic using luxury fabrics, bold graphics and layered textures. They built an in-house print shop, as well as an embroidery and embellishment studio so they can make their own one-of-a-kind pieces. The fabrics come from Italy, Portugal and Japan, but the lines are made in the Garment District.
