BPC RIVER & BLUES STARTS NEXT MONTH
The Battery Park City Authority will host its River & Blues series with The Dip, a Seattle-based seven piece, on Thrusday, July 6, from 7 to 8:30p with a DJ from 6 to 7 at Rockefeller Park at Chambers. More info here.
DUMAS PLAY AT CASTLE CLINTON
Lower Manhattan’s Shakespeare Downtown will present free performances of new stage adaptation of Alexandre Dumas fils’ “The Lady of the Camellias” through June 25 at 6:30p at Castle Clinton National Monument at The Battery. Adapted by Billie Andersson, the play combines dialogue from Dumas’ novel with text and structural concepts from the libretto of the opera “La Traviata.” The fully-realized production is performed inside the open-air walls of Castle Clinton. Tickets are available at the door at 5:45 p.m. on the day of the performance. Directed by Geoffrey Horne.
ROOFTOP MOVIES AT PIER 17
Securing a spot is nearly impossible but so fun if you do: The Movies on the Water at The Rooftop at Pier 17 will include Jaws on July 25, Step Up on August 16, and Pitch Perfect on Sept. 21.
SANT AMBROEUS NOW HAS LIVE MUSIC
Jackie Ribal and Marcio Philomena will be performing weekly at Sant Ambroeus in Brookfield Place in the mezzanine dining room, Fridays from 6:30 to 9:30p.
