Nosy Neighbor: Who is putting little sculptures in Bogardus Plaza?

I took some pictures of these a year ago — the ones here were collected by JBW. So this artist has been at it for a while. They sort of hide in the underbrush like gnomes or lawn ornaments.

And I do not have the answer! Nor does the Friends of Bogardus Plaza. So leaving it to the crowd to figure it out… Anyone?

    Wow, I have to be more like Sonia and pay close attention! I walk by there almost daily and have never noticed them.
