Tribecan and chef Cricket Azima, who opened Cricket’s Candy Creations on Hudson during the pandemic, sells crafty candy kits including  candy sushi, edible slime, edible fingerpaint and candy jewelry. Order here. $50

HOUSEMAN
Houseman’s fruitcakes are back for their ninth Christmas, stuffed with candied oranges and ginger, walnuts and drunken cherries and thoroughly soaked in rum. They come packed in a fancy tin and weigh in at nearly two pounds. They make a very limited quantity; pre-order before Dec. 20 for arrival before Christmas. $65

  1. Any idea which local restaurants are serving brunch/dinner on Christmas day?

    • I don’t survey, but The Odeon, Bubby’s and The Roxy all sent me notes that they are serving special meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
