MAH JONGG ON DESBROSSES
R. got word of a space at 18 Desbrosses that is set up for the playing of American Mah Jongg called the Mah Jongg Table. So cool! They have games, lessons and events. From the website: “Our mission is to create an inviting and nurturing space where friendship, socialization, and personal connections thrive. Through the game of American Mah Jongg, we are spreading love and laughter, enriching our lives one tile at a time.” More soon.

SOHO REP’S “THE FIRES”
Raja Feather Kelly’s new play “The Fires” started performances at Soho Rep on Walker and already the first two weeks are sold out, but there are still a handful of tickets left through June 16. $20 rush tickets are also available at nearly every performance. Find them here.
