Seen & Heard: +Pool coming to Pier 35

+POOL COMING TO PIER 35
+Pool, the East River swimming pool that uses filtered river water to create a natural swimming pool, is under construction now at Pier 35 in Two Bridges. It’s a ways off, but still, the mayor and the governor signed off and the filtration unit has already arrived. A pilot of a 2,000 sq. ft. portion of the pool will be tested in 2025 to see if the whole thing works. “But here’s the deal,” the announcement said, “funding in place is for construction only, which means we still really need your help. If you can, please consider chipping in.”
