It seems this is going to be an H Mart but I have never been able to confirm directly with the company. That was a solid rumor I heard back in 2023; and we knew the commercial condo had been sold. James Bogardus then did a deep dive on the Department of Finance records on the sale and learned the deed included the same address and suite number as “Hana Mart Tribeca Corp” as well as the same last name of the owner of H Mart.

Jin Market closed in June 2022, so this is a longtime coming.

The workers told W. it would be completed in a month — which seemed optimistic to him. Have to agree. Still, progress.
