EMILIA GEORGE ADDS A SECOND BOUTIQUE
Emilia George, the maternity boutique and fashion company that started here, has added a second boutique in Buckhead Village in Atlanta. I love when local businesses can use Tribeca as a launching pad.
ANGEL TREE STARTS AGAIN AT 15 BROAD
The residents of 15 Broad are once again gathering gifts and funds for the holidays for Downtowners in need as part of the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, with a goal to match its record: 700 families. Sponsors are assigned a wish list for a child or senior citizen and then purchase the three items requested. These are the only gifts the recipients get for the holidays. The families are experiencing financial hardship and live at or below the poverty line, and the majority live in the city’s shelter system. If you don’t want to do the shopping, the team will accept checks, Venmo or credit card donations in whatever amount you’re comfortable giving. The deadline is Dec. 15. Email 15BroadAngelTree@gmail.com to be matched.
