Somehow anything with the word brain in the title does not sound appetizing to me, but there’s a reason for it — the restaurant brand is dedicated to better brain health. It was founded in Noho in 2016 by Marisa Seifan, a former federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of New York, whose roles over the decade she was there included chief of general crimes and deputy chief of public integrity.

From the website: “Marisa and her family members started Honeybrains to translate the growing scientific research about brain health into enjoyable and accessible foods, drinks, nutrient-based supplements, and other products that can help people live happier, longer, and healthier lives.”

They have two other outlets, in the Flatiron and at Saks, and another coming to 84th and Amsterdam this winter.
