I for sure had not! And I even google lensed it — nothing came up. And it has the “Department of Transportation” stamp on it.

But it turns out those are stickers! You really can’t tell, even when you get close. The DOT said the “stop ahead” sign is theirs, however the stickers that have been added to it were not placed by DOT. They also said they would address the issue.

Too bad — I like the monster.
