Klein Epstein Parker, the bespoke suit brand that landed on Hudson and Duane in 2018 and moved across the street in 2019, has left that most recent space — 51 Hudson. (Thanks to K, T and D for the heads up and the photos.) The company is moving, though I have let to learn where to.
Had you asked me, I would have guessed they had been in the neighborhood a lot longer. It seemed like a staple.
The company was founded in 2011 by Miray and Jeroen Bik, a couple who met while working for Dutch fashion retailer Oilily
From the LA Times: Miray, who had worked at Ralph Lauren and Banana Republic, always enjoyed men’s fashions, and the couple decided they wanted to create a company where customers could choose every detail in a suit, from the pattern and stitching to the buttons and lining. Being 1960s music enthusiasts, the Biks named their company after three musician managers who helped market the sound and fashion of the entertainers they represented: Brian Epstein, the original manager of the Beatles; Allen Klein who managed the business affairs of the Rolling Stones and briefly the Beatles; and Colonel Tom Parker, who turned Elvis into a household name.
