A unique membership space for kids and adults to use at the same time has opened on three floors of 80 Franklin — Primary opened Jan. 15, taking 5300 square feet, and includes day camps, birthday parties and yoga classes among a lot of other activities.

The founding memberships are $680 a month, but it looks like they will go up to $800 a month eventually.

The play space is Montessori based, with activities such as sewing, toy‑building, photography and cooking. There is an adult-only floor for hanging out or working, as well as classes in stretching, Pilates, breathwork and yoga. There is also a licensed family therapist. They have playgrounds throughout the day grouped by age, and this past week they offered day camps for the February break.
