JAG Physical Therapy, a Northeast chain that has 160 locations, has opened on Watts, in the triangle building that is 475 Greenwich. The company offers physical and occupational therapy for the recovery of knee, foot, ankle, hip, shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist and back injuries.
The company was founded by John Gallucci Jr. and over the years has acquired other PT offices around the tri-state area and Pennsylvania. They are the official provider of physical therapy for sports teams such as the New Jersey Devils, Columbia University Athletics and Princeton University Athletics. There are five other locations in Manhattan.
The Tribeca location specializes in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, a technique that accelerates healing and helps relieve chronic pain and soft tissue restrictions; Cupping Therapy, which promotes circulation, reduces muscle tightness and aids in pain relief by creating suction on the skin; and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, which uses controlled pressure to enhance muscle growth and strength while reducing strain on joints. They also offer Women’s Health Programs to address musculoskeletal concerns specific to the female body.
