The folks at El Sazon, who just moved into the Bogardus kiosk this week along with Joey Bats, are giving away 100 free burgers on Saturday starting at 11a. I’ll tell you it’s worth the $9 to buy one if you don’t want to wait in line.
ALLIANCE HONORS PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS
The Downtown Alliance honored seven public safety officers for their outstanding service this week at the Giardino d’Oro for a variety of distinguished acts, from reuniting a lost child with her mother, to assisting the NYPD by securing a weapon after an attempted robbery. The honorees were Security Officers Theresa Seignious and Malaysia Venable, Supervisor Turhan White and Security Officer Theresa Seignious, Supervisor Shawn Soto and Security Officers Jeremy Vega, Jerry Marcus and James Paige.
